Renaissance Learning: The New Accelerated Reader

This session is for anyone interested in seeing new features in Accelerated Reader (AR).  AR has an upgrade (AR360) which includes short non-fiction articles (they take approximately 10 minutes to read).  Students can read one every day and take a 3 question comprehension quiz and earn points! With the push for College and Career Readiness, students should read non-fiction every day.  This tool provides articles (sorted by content area and grade level) teachers can assign to digital groups within the classroom.   When used with fidelity, AR will help students gain more than a school year in reading every year.
